Beginning basics of Ballet, Tap, Tumbling and Baton.

Classes

Adrienne’s Dance Academy offers young dancers as well as adults elite training in  of two in Cashmere WA.

Our program delivers an all-around dance experience for your student by offering a wide variety of styles and levels, additional training and performance opportunities.

JAZZ

Focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer.

TAP

Designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique and producing clear tap sounds.

CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL

Technique and skills are combined from ballet, jazz and modern. Interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract.

MODERN

Modern Dance appeals to the creative, artistic soul in everyone because of its expressiveness and freedom of individuality. With a focus on movement from the inside out, encouraging use of breath, energy, and connection. A strong foundation technique, prepares students to use breath, opposition, and strength that carries over into other disciplines. 

HIP HOP

A high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking.

 

POM POM

Dance with a focus on Cheer, Pom & Dance Team.

 

 

MUSICAL THEATRE

Focus is on learning proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with Broadway style jazz. Emphasis will also be placed on learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and telling a story through dance and facial expressions.

 

TECHNIQUE

Strength, flexibility, leaps & turns with an emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out and overall coordination.
